Climate Requirements of the Rose: The oil rose likes climatic zones that are open airy, with plenty of light, dry and frost-free in spring and dew during flowering. In our country, oil rose production is mostly done in and around Isparta. Therefore, Isparta region has a suitable climate for growing roses. It likes the transition regions where the maximum temperature does not exceed 38 degrees C in summer and does not fall below 15 degrees C in winter, the average annual precipitation is 500-600 mm and the relative humidity is around 60-70%. Since our region is a lakes region, the relative humidity is sufficient.  Soil Requirements of Rose : Rose is not very selective in terms of soil requirements.
